Eri Silk also known as Ahimsa silk or "peace" silk  is indigenous to the North-Eastern region of India.It is cultivated in the villages, hand spun, naturally dyed and handwoven. 

This design of this shawl has been woven for generations with raised stripe design known as KYNTANG with three lines stripe at the end of the shawls where its believe to bring good luck.This shawl is handwoven by the women of a Co-operative society from the state of Meghalaya in India for preserving traditions that has been passed down from generations.

  1. Material: Eri Silk 50% hand spun, and 50% mill spun
  2. Colours: Natural dyes from Lac
  3. Washing: Hand wash with gentle soap. Dry out of direct sunlight
