Lakadong Turmeric Latte
Switch your regular latte for this nutritious and delicious turmeric latte!
The ingredients for this recipe are:
- 500ml regular milk or plant-based milk
- 1 teaspoon Lakadong Ker – (If you don’t have this you can substitute with a mixture of powdered black cardamom, ginger, black pepper, long pepper, and turmeric)
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1-2 teaspoon of Honey
How to prepare:
- Pour milk into a pan and add the Lakadong Ker. Place over gentle heat and bring to simmer. Remove from the heat and give the mixture a good stir and leave it out to infuse for 15 mins.
- Strain the milk and pour back into the pan. Add in the cinnamon stick and place over the heat again and stir through the honey. Use a wire whisk to blend the milk and create a rich foam. Serve warm.
