It is extremely refreshing, and has a nice, mild taste, so I didn’t feel the need to add honey to it too. Loved it!

My experience with Green Tea with Potentilla fulgens Linn (Lyngiangbru) was different from Kavita.

I steeped the tea for one minute. I found the lyngiangbru to be too bitter for my taste. I want to like this because the medicinal properties of Potentilla fulgens Linn is desirable. I am wondering if I just buy the root, and mix it with a dried fruit, that maybe I will enjoy it as a pure medicinal tea sweetened with natural fruit. This may be a better option for me?

      Hi Joanna,
Yes, to get the maximum out of the Lyngiang bru in the tea, you can let it seep a while or boil. And as you are suggesting, maybe drop a piece of our dehydrated pineapple which is rather sweet and delicious! But, if you want to make a refreshing drink with a touch of health – seep for two or three minutes and drink it as it is. This way it should not be too bitter.
