In the pursuit of bringing some of the best coffee from the foothills of Northeast India, Zizira has travelled across valleys and streams to source this coffee.

Owing Meghalaya’s hilly terrain, one has to walk down about 7000 steps to get to these community coffee plantations. This coffee traces its history to the British era and has been growing in a cluster of villages ever since.

Grown by a community of coffee planters, this coffee is free from any form of chemical fertilizer. It is grown amongst fruit and nut trees which only adds to the flavour and aroma of the coffee.
